Prairie Barn House
This 4000 sq. ft, 4 bedroom home borrows from the iconic barns of the midwest prairie. Envisioned to be clad in corten steel with 3 story glazing and a birch wood interior this home slowly reveals itself to be distinctly modern. Other features include an open plan with the kitchen opening to a large covered patio through a 20 ft. set of sliding doors and a second story grass courtyard.
Windswept Studio
A working concept for a large 2 story art studio and home. The design features a whole roof skylight in the painting studio which is separated from the living and entertainment spaces by a 25’ x 20’ movable wall. The design will be LEED certified and is energy self sustainable.
Canopy House
A working concept for an elevated retreat that has 360 degree views and multiple environments to interact with the landscape. Living, entertaining and the master bedroom occupy the top floor. Guest bedrooms, media and workout rooms are on the ground floor. A two tier sauna and outdoor pool are adjacent to a 3 car garage/pool house. This home can be built with a number of material choices.
